National Conference on Goods and Services Tax (GST)

As Honorable Prime Minister of India is committed towards 'Make in India' project, it is very important to make tax reforms for the industry. One of the ways of ensuring that industry effectively works and grows in global setup is to provide a simple and clear indirect tax system, which makes it easy and simple for industries to manufacture and trade here without adding any extra tax burden. In this regard, the Government of India has been working towards the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).

The Government is all set to implement the GST in India and has indicated April 1, 2016 as target date for GST launch. Government has been giving very positive feelers about GST and is all geared up to implement it. This is going to be one of the implementation of the most ambitious tax reform.

Therefore, we realize that there is a need to organize the a knowledge workshop in the form of national conference to update the participants on the proposed GST structure and its implication on various stake holders:- and to bring together the local administration, central Government, the state Governments and the industry to reach a consensus on what are the important milestones to implement GST.
